Join our team as a Childcare Substitute Teacher and become part of fulfilling Celebree's values to protect, educate, and nurture. In this entry-level position, you will support the preschool in upholding the highest standards of care and education, ensuring that each childs individual needs are met. The position is on need basis and is best suitable for someone looking to invest the flexible hours with kids. There is a possibility of this role growing into full-time Assistant teacher and eventually a Lead teacher.

Responsibilities
As a Child care Substitute Teacher, you will be given the tools, resources, and training to:
  • Assist in classroom management ensuring compliance with all regulations, company standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Provide a welcoming & friendly classroom environment for children, parents & visitors.
  • Assist in managing effective classroom transitions.
  • Assist and supervise children during all activities; counsel children as needed using positive and appropriate discipline techniques.
  • Ensure that the appearance, cleanliness, and safe environment of the classroom are appropriately maintained.
  • Present a positive and professional image at all times adhering to uniform requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, e.g., greeting by name, addressing concern etc.
