GDC IT Solutions is currently seeking an Entry-Level Desktop Support Technician in the Sewickley, PA area.
Position Overview:
GDC is seeking a motivated Entry-Level Desktop Support Technician to join our IT team. This role will provide foundational technical support to end users, assist with hardware and software setup, and support core IT systems such as Active Directory and Office 365. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in IT, gain hands-on experience, and develop skills in system administration and technical support.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide basic technical support to end users for hardware, software, and connectivity issues
  • Assist with setup, imaging, and configuration of desktops, laptops, and mobile devices
  • Support user account creation and maintenance in Active Directory and Office 365
  • Help troubleshoot and resolve issues related to printers, scanners, and office equipment
  • Assist with email setup and support (Outlook, Exchange, mobile devices)
  • Support file sharing and folder access permissions
  • Respond to help desk tickets and escalate more complex issues as needed
  • Assist with inventory tracking and asset management
  • Provide support for basic networking issues (connectivity, Wi-Fi access)
  • Follow IT procedures and document solutions

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Associate degree in Information Technology or related field (or equivalent training/experience)
  • Basic understanding of:
