General Responsibility:

This is a developmental opportunity for an entry-level candidate interested in growing technical skills in quality, manufacturing, and continuous improvement. The role supports daily quality activities, problem solving, and process improvement while working closely with operations, engineering, and supply chain teams.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:   
Support supplier non-conformance investigations, including chargebacks and follow-up actions
   Support root cause investigations by collecting production, process, and defect data and helping analyze trends
   Communicate supplier and material issues with the Quality Manager and corporate quality partners
   Assist with validation of process changes, trial runs, and first-article evaluations to confirm product and process performance
   Investigate material non-conformances and customer complaints to help identify root causes
   Prepare charts, summaries, and basic statistical analysis to communicate quality trends, scrap drivers, and recurring issues
   Support corrective and preventive actions to improve product quality and process performance
   Maintain inspection plans, check sheets, and related quality documentation to support standard work and process control
   Perform incoming, in-process, and finished product inspections and testing to support manufacturing
   Verify supplier requirements such as labeling, packaging, palletization, dimensions, and quantities are met
   Create and share inspection, audit, and quality results reports with the appropriate teams
   Partner with operations, maintenance, and engineering to support continuous improvement initiatives and corrective action follow-through
   Work with planning and manufacturing teams on inbound material acceptance decisions
   Review drawings, specifications, and work instructions for accuracy and escalate discrepancies for resolution
   Validate drawing / print dimensions are aligned with internal Quality Specs and supporting documents
   Help maintain quality procedures, policies, and control documents as needed
   Perform other duties as needs dictate or change over time.

Job Qualifications and Requirements:

   Understanding of receiving or manufacturing operations and the ability to follow established procedures
   Comfortable using Microsoft Office and learning systems such as SAP and Windchill
   Strong communication skills - both written and verbal.
   Strong organizational skills, with ability to organize and prioritize individual work as required.
   Ability to work effectively across departments and support cross-functional activities
   Basic understanding of quality methods, standards, and metrics (QMS, HQMS, DPPM, AQLs, etc.) and the ability to learn part print navigation using systems such as PTC Creo or similar tools.
   Ability to use basic measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
   Previous experience in quality, manufacturing, or engineering support is helpful, but entry-level candidates with strong technical aptitude and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
   Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or a related field is preferred but not required. Equivalent experience, technical training, or demonstrated aptitude will also be considered.
   Flexibility to work overtime when needed to support production or project timelines
   Role may require frequent walking and occasional lifting up to 40 pounds
