Job description

Blue Chip Talent, in partnership with a financial services organization, is seeking a skilled Accounts Receivable Specialist. This role is responsible for managing insurance receivables, processing and reconciling customer payments, and supporting invoice and statement accuracy. The position also serves as a knowledgeable resource for receivables-related inquiries and contributes to ongoing process improvement initiatives.


Job Duties

  • Develop expertise in insurance receivables processes and procedures
  • Process and reconcile incoming receipts against customer invoices and statements
  • Research and resolve discrepancies related to payments and receivables
  • Respond to receivables-related inquiries from internal teams, customers, and insurance authorities
  • Maintain accurate financial and customer account records
  • Support account reconciliation and receivables reporting activities
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives
  • Contribute to additional accounting and finance projects as assigned


Skills & Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, a related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Intermediate or advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Experience with accounts receivable, payment processing, account reconciliation, or related financial processes


Desired

  • 2+ years of experience in financial services, insurance, accounting, or a related environment
