We are seeking a motivated GL Staff Accountant to join our Finance team in Indianapolis, IN. This is an excellent opportunity for recent Accounting or Finance graduates or professionals with 1–2 years of accounting experience who are looking to grow their career in a fast-paced corporate environment.
If you have experience with General Ledger (GL), SAP, journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close, we'd love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare and post General Ledger (GL) journal entries accurately and timely.
• Record daily cash transactions and prepare weekly cash reports.
• Perform bank reconciliations and balance sheet account reconciliations.
• Process miscellaneous payments through online banking systems.
• Assist with Fixed Asset accounting and asset tracking.
• Support month-end and year-end close activities.
• Assist with internal and external audit requests.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and internal controls.
• Support ad hoc accounting and finance projects as needed.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Recent Graduate or 1–2 years of Accounting experience
• Knowledge of General Ledger (GL) Accounting
• Experience with SAP ERP (Preferred)
