Job Description
Position Overview
Reporting to the Vice President, Enterprise Risk Management, the Manager, Enterprise Risk Management will help evolve and implement Invenergy's Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and Crisis Management programs across the company's generation and development portfolios. This role partners closely with leaders and teams across the organization to proactively identify and assess key risks, evaluate potential impacts, and support the development of effective mitigation strategies. Operating with a high degree of independence, the Manager applies strong facilitation, critical thinking, and structured analytical skills to deliver insights that inform leadership decision-making and advance Invenergy's long-term objectives. This role offers broad enterprise exposure and high visibility, providing a unique opportunity to influence how Invenergy anticipates risk, prepares for uncertainty, and navigates complex challenges.
Responsibilities
  • Advance Invenergy's ERM and Crisis Management frameworks, contributing to the ongoing development of governance, policies, tools, processes, and reporting requirements.
  • Coordinate the Risk Management Committee, including preparing risk and resilience briefings and executive level materials for internal and/or external use as needed.
  • Partner with business leaders and teams to serve as a key point of contact for enterprise or business unit risks, supporting the evaluation and improvement of mitigation and recovery plans.
  • Facilitate cross-functional risk assessments that consider interdependencies, internal and external factors, and both existing and emerging risks.
  • Monitor and synthesize risk intelligence, translating insights into actionable inputs for ERM and leadership discussions.
  • Engage stakeholders at all levels, including Business Unit leaders, Officers, Board Members, and Financing Parties, as needed to promote transparency and a strong risk-aware culture.
  • Build, advance, and leverage tools, scorecards, and dashboards to manage accurate tracking and reporting of risks.
  • Develop and deliver risk training to foster a strong risk culture, build shared understanding and enable continuous learning throughout the company.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Economics, Finance, or related discipline required.
  • 4+ years' relevant experience, such as Risk Management, Program Management, Project Management, Engineering, Asset Management, and/or Operations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to apply structure and judgment to complex issues.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills - able to communicate clearly, concisely, and persuasively with tact and diplomacy.
  • Eligible to work in the United States without the need for employer visa sponsorship now or in the future

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in the power, renewables, oil and gas, construction, or similar industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities reliably under tight timelines.
  • Experience leading projects and driving progress through influence rather than authority.
  • Strong presentation skills - ability to comprehend and synthesize information to concisely communicate complex issues to senior leaders, incorporating critical details required for each audience.
  • Awareness of enterprise risk management processes and principles such as risk identification, analysis, evaluation, risk treatment, and monitoring activities outlined.
  • Comfortable dealing with rapid growth in constantly changing internal and external environments - able to adapt to change and embrace ambiguity.

Base Pay
$108,000.00 - $134,000.00 USD Annual
Bonus: 25% - 40%
The base pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target salary for the position. Invenergy considers a number of factors when determining base pay offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education and skills.
In addition to base pay, the total annual compensation package may also include eligibility to participate in our bonus program(s) which are designed to reward individual and company performance. Your recruiter can share more about bonus eligibility for this position during the hiring process.
