Summary
As a Provider Enrollment Analyst, you can contribute your skills as we harness the power of technology to help our clients improve the health and well-being of the members they serve. This role supports the accurate and timely processing of provider enrollment and screening activities for the Louisiana Medicaid Program in accordance with applicable state and federal requirements.
Your role in our mission
Help create power in Gainwell's processes as we develop purpose-built technologies and solutions that yield better health and human services outcomes.

  • Review, validate, and process Medicaid provider enrollment applications in compliance with Louisiana Medicaid guidelines, ACA requirements, and federal regulations.
  • Maintain and update provider records, conduct enrollment screenings, and ensure documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant.
  • Research, analyze, and resolve provider enrollment issues while responding to provider inquiries regarding enrollment status and requirements.
  • Collaborate with Gainwell Technologies teams and State Medicaid representatives to support enrollment operations and meet productivity, quality, and compliance standards.
  • Utilize enrollment systems and Microsoft Office applications to perform daily responsibilities while identifying opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies.
  • Provide strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately manage sensitive provider information.
  • Utilize analytical and problem-solving skills when evaluating information, and applying policies and regulations.
  • Display excellent organizational, time management, and prioritization skills, with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
What we're looking for
  • High school diploma or GED is required; degree preferred.
  • Knowledge of the fundamental concepts and principles in the medical and/or insurance fields.
  • Previous experience in Medicaid, provider enrollment, or a related field.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Windows-based applications, with the ability to work independently while maintaining confidentiality.
What you should expect in this role
  • This position is hybrid following training; during the training period, employees are expected to work primarily onsite.
  • The work schedule is Monday through Friday between 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM CST. Office location is in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
  • Assessment Requirement: Candidates will be required to complete a skills and competency assessment before advancing to the next stage of the selection process.
  • Video cameras must be on during interviews and initial orientation week.

The pay range for this position is $35,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
