Position Available: In-Person English Instructor, Part-Time at Main Campus and Extension Sites
The Division of Humanities, Fine Arts, and Social Sciences at IVCC is seeking part-time English Instructors to teach in-person course sections of English Composition. Applicants may also be considered for future, on-going teaching assignments in English Composition at the Main Campus, at the Extension Campus in Ottawa, IL, and at Dual Credit high school locations.
Qualifications Required: Master's degree in English, OR Master's degree in a related field and 18 graduate credit hours in English, with a focus on Rhetoric & Composition preferred. Graduate coursework must be from an accredited college/university. Previous teaching experience in higher education is preferred. Applicants must also have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation. This position does not provide reimbursement for travel expenses.
Salary: $688.00 per credit hour; personal paid leave and other part-time benefits
