They are responsible for implementing health programs, conducting health screenings, managing workplace injuries or illnesses, and ensuring compliance with occupational health regulations. These nurses also provide education on wellness and disease prevention, facilitate vaccinations, and act as a resource for both employees and employers. Their role is essential in creating a healthy work environment and reducing workplace-related health risks.

What does an employee health nurse do?

An employee health nurse works to ensure the health and wellness of employees for a company or organization. Your duties in this career may include performing pre-employment testing, providing essential medical services in the workplace, and operating a wellness education program for employees. These competencies are crucial for preventing workplace illnesses, promoting safety, and maintaining regulatory compliance in organizational environments.

How does an employee health nurse collaborate with other departments to manage workplace health and safety?
