An NHSN Coordinator is primarily responsible for collecting, validating, and reporting infection surveillance data to the CDC’s National Healthcare Safety Network. They work closely with infection preventionists, quality improvement teams, and clinical staff to ensure accurate and timely reporting of healthcare-associated infections and adherence to regulatory guidelines.
