Summary

Job Description:

Baptist Health is looking for an Employee Health Nurse to join our team! This is a clinic-based position split between the Louisville and Floyd clinics with occasional coverage of the LaGrange clinic.

The Registered Nurse works alongside medical assistants, nurses, and providers within the Employee Health Services (EHS) program under the supervision of a program manager, delivering various components of the program such as new candidate health screening, annual health compliance, respirator clearance and fit testing, booster immunizations, biometrics, drug screens, cognitive screening, post-exposure services, and worker's compensation and injury reduction services for the adult population across the health system. Services provided to minors with permission from a parent or legal guardian.

Employees will be assigned to a specific team, program focus, and work location. Employees may be cross trained to support more than one program focus and could be scheduled to work at multiple locations, flexing between remote and clinic or office locations. Employees assigned to program support services outside of the clinics will work from an office and if approved and protocols and productivity are maintained, may be eligible to work remotely from their home. Accommodation of remote work is not available for employees assigned to clinic services. Percentage weight of job description may vary based upon assigned responsibilities.

Creates a positive, supportive, collaborative work environment for EHS program staff and clinic patients following the mission, vision, and values of the organization. Collaborates with various Baptist entities to establish and promote company initiatives, to provide convenient services, support timely compliance, associated documentation and/or reporting, and to ensure continuity of care for individuals throughout the organization receiving services through the EHS program.

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree; ADN or BS with one year experience.

  • Experience in employee health or occupational health.

  • Professional License or Certification required.

  • Life Support Training or Certification (ACLS, BLS, PALS, etc.) required.
