Homecare - Employee Engagement Coordinator (Full Time)

In Office: 7870 E Kemper Rd., Cincinnati, OH 45249 (Travel Required)

Business Hours:Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

The responsibilities of our Employee Engagement Coordinator include:

1) Employee Engagement Strategy & Program Execution

  • Design and execute scalable engagement initiatives that reach office staff, remote employees, and fieldbased clinicians across all Ohio markets.
  • Translate leadership priorities into practical engagement programs that support consistency, clarity, and connection across service lines.
  • Build engagement routines that can be repeated and sustained (standard cadence, templates, leader toolkits, simple measurement).

2) EarlyTenure Retention & Onboarding Reinforcement

  • Own engagement components of onboarding reinforcement and earlytenure experience, with emphasis onfirst90-180 days.
  • Partner with HR/Operations to execute touchpointsafter90days, stayconnected checkins, and earlyrisk intervention steps.
  • Identifycommon earlytenure friction pointsin conjunction with HR and managers(tools, training, communication, scheduling, expectations) and coordinate actions to reduce avoidable turnover.
  • Support leader behaviors that improve early retention (welcomes, feedback cadence, recognition, clarity of expectations).

3) Recognition & Culture Reinforcement

  • Own companywide recognition approach aligned with Patriot values (appreciation, milestones, valuesbased awards, peer recognition).
  • Ensure recognition istimely, meaningful, and operationally consistent across locations.
  • Create simple ways for leaders to recognize performance and reinforce behaviors that support accountability, teamwork, and missiondriven care.

4) Leadership Partnership & Manager Enablement

  • Coach leaders and managers on engagement fundamentals: communication habits, recognition, feedback, and team connection-especially for dispersed teams.
  • Provideleaderplaybooks, talking points, meeting templates, and practical tools that improve consistency across locations.
  • Support leaders throughchangeinitiatives by building engagement plans (what leaders need to do, what employees need to hear, and what must be reinforced).

5) Employee Listening, Feedback & Continuous Improvement

  • Operate structured surveys, pulse checks, focus groups, stay interviews in partnership with HR) and summarize themes for leadership.
  • Convert feedback into action plans withthe Board of Directorsand timelines; follow up to confirm closure and improvement.
  • Serve as a connector between frontline teams and leadership, elevating engagement risks
  • Perform other duties as required


Qualifications:

  • 3-5+ years of experience in employee engagement, internal communications, HR, operations, or related work; healthcare or fieldbased workforce experience preferred.
  • Strong relationshipbuilding skills withabilityto influence leaders without direct authority.
  • Ability to create simple, repeatable programs and execute consistently across multiple locations.
  • Comfortable working with data (turnover, survey results, themes) and translating insights into action.
  • High professionalism, confidentiality, and ability tooperatein a HIPAAsensitive environment.
  • Willingness to travel to branches/field locations as needed.


Job Conditions:

  • Primarily a desk job which involves sitting, standing, stooping and walking
    • At times, there are deadlines that must be met
    • This position requires minimal lifting of office records and printouts
    • The ability to read 12 point and larger type is required
    • One must be able to hear adequately on the telephone with no more than an amplifier and be able to communicate both verbally and in writing in English
    • Must be able to utilize a PC, calculator, multi-line telephone, and other related office equipment
