Distribution Sales Engineer - Electrical Products Portfolio
This position will reside in the greater Orlando or Tampa metro area.
You will make an impact by:
  • Developing and supporting our Siemens Distribution and Electrical Contractor opportunities.
  • Providing Product and training support to include but not limited to; Panelboards, Switchboards, Lighting Panels, Molded Case Circuit Breakers, IEC/NEMA Control, Safety Switches, and Residential Products.
  • Building and maintaining a business plan by identifying key growth trends within targeted verticals, identifying contractor conversion opportunities, managing action items and promotional events, conducting training, following up on leads and managing existing day to day distributor functions.
  • Developing and implementing plans for strategic accounts to meet stakeholder expectations.
  • Developing relationships with key executive management and other decision makers.

You'll win us over by having the following qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
  • BS degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience in the Power Distribution market - Electrical Distributor, Electrical Manufacturer or Manufacturer's Agent
  • 5+ years experience with MS Office (PowerPoint and Excel)
  • Ability to travel 25% of the time.
  • Individual must possess a valid Driver's license in good standing.
    Individual must be at least 21 years of age in order to participate in the required Siemens vehicle plan.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • BS in Engineering
  • Experience in selling to electrical distribution and contractors
  • 5+ years Knowledge of Low Voltage distribution product line.
  • 5+ years experience in building or maintaining customer relationships via direct interaction.
  • Demonstrates high initiative and drive to meet goals.

The pay range for this position is 74970.00 - 156794.00 annually with a target incentive of 35 of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
