Electrical Control Panel Builder

1st Shift | 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
Pay: Based on experience
Full-Time

Overview

We are looking for a hands-on Electrical Control Panel Builder to support the assembly of custom control panels and electrical systems. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, the ability to interpret technical documents, and experience working in a manufacturing environment.

What You'll Do

  • Build electrical control panels using point-to-point wiring methods

  • Install and assemble a variety of electrical and mechanical components

  • Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and work instructions

  • Determine proper assembly sequence and methods when needed

  • Use hand tools and electrical tools (crimpers, strippers, screwdrivers, soldering irons, etc.)

  • Perform drilling, grinding, deburring, and other basic fabrication tasks

  • Identify and question inconsistencies in drawings or specifications

  • Update documentation to reflect completed "as-built" assemblies

  • Move materials using forklifts or hand pallet jacks

  • Maintain accurate build and production records

  • Work independently while following established processes and quality standards

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in electrical or electromechanical assembly

  • Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and blueprints

  • Familiarity with hand tools used in electrical assembly

  • Strong focus on accuracy and workmanship

  • Ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision

  • Forklift experience is a plus

Work Environment

  • Industrial manufacturing setting

  • Requires standing for long periods and occasional lifting/material handling
