Electrical Panel Designer Jobs (NOW HIRING)

We are seeking an experienced Panel Designer to join our growing Electrical Manufacturing team. This position is responsible for designing industrial control systems, developing PLC and HMI programs, supporting panel fabrication, and assisting with startup and commissioning. • Design UL 508A industrial control panels, electrical schematics, and panel layouts.

• Develop PLC, HMI, and SCADA programs for industrial automation systems.

• Create and maintain electrical drawings using AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or similar CAD software.

• Select electrical components and ensure designs comply with UL 508A, NEC, and NFPA 79 standards.

• Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, and panel shop teams throughout project execution.

• Support Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), startup, commissioning, troubleshooting, and customer support.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in industrial controls, automation, or control systems engineering.

• Experience designing UL 508A industrial control panels.

• Experience programming PLC and HMI systems.

• Ability to read and modify electrical schematics, P&IDs, and control drawings.

• Strong understanding of industrial automation systems, motor controls, instrumentation, and electrical components.

• Experience using AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or similar electrical design software.

• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills.

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 40 pounds as needed.

• Occasional travel to customer facilities for startup and commissioning.

• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment when working in manufacturing or field environments.
