Instructional Designer

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Instructional Designer to develop engaging, effective learning content for technical and professional audiences. This role will partner with subject matter experts and cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain high-quality training materials that support business objectives. The ideal candidate has strong instructional design experience and hands-on expertise using Xyleme for content authoring and learning content management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop instructor-led, virtual, and self-paced eLearning courses
  • Create engaging learning experiences using instructional design best practices and adult learning principles
  • Build, manage, and maintain learning content using Xyleme
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather requirements and translate complex information into clear, learner-focused content
  • Develop assessments, job aids, guides, and other learning materials
  • Review, update, and improve existing training content to ensure accuracy and effectiveness
  • Ensure learning materials are consistent with branding, accessibility, and quality standards
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of learning programs within learning management systems (LMS)
Qualifications
  • Experience as an Instructional Designer or Learning Experience Designer
  • Hands-on experience developing and managing content using Xyleme is required
  • Strong understanding of instructional design methodologies and adult learning principles
  • Experience creating eLearning content and multimedia training materials
  • Proficiency with authoring tools and learning technologies
  • Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills
  • Strong project management, organization, and stakeholder collaboration skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Learning Technologies, or a related field (or equivalent experience) preferred
