Job Description

Primary Function of the Positionย 
Theย Learningย Contentย Designerย isย responsible forย developing engaging learningย materials that meet definedย learningย objectives,ย useย appropriate trainingย modalitiesย andย methods,ย andย followย establishedย processesย and adult learning principles.ย 

Essential Jobย Dutiesย ย 

Upon onboardingย andย completing requiredย qualifications, the Learning Content Designerย will:ย 

  • Analyze role-specificย learner needs andย tasks toย craft measurable learning objectivesย ย 

  • Collaborate within the team and withย subject matter experts (SMEs)ย toย developย newย or update existingย learningย contentย 

  • Collaborate withย multimediaย teamsย to create orย modifyย media assetsย incorporated in learning materialsย 

  • Proactively manageย theย contentย developmentย processย includingย milestones, risks,ย review cycles,ย feedbackย implementation, andย quality assuranceย 

  • Manage andย monitorย deliverablesย throughout the implementation,ย translation, and launchย process,ย providingย regular status updates toย project teamsย 

  • Evaluateย learning content using qualitative and quantitative methods to drive design/development improvementsย and workflow efficienciesย 

  • Conductย technical/clinicalย training andย sign-offsย for Intuitiveย teams that supportย customer educationย 

  • Develop and deliver training for Human Factors usability evaluationsย 

  • Conductย lab-based skills trainingย forย physicians and care teams as neededย 

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experienceย ย 

  • 3-7ย yrs. relevant professional experienceย 

  • Ability toย sign-offย onย applicable technical and/or clinicalย contentย 

  • Experience designingย and developingย eLearning, instructor-led training,ย andย assessmentsย 

  • Delivery of training in a professional or classroom settingย 

  • Demonstrated application of adult learning theory, analysis tools and process, evaluation tools and models, assessment best practices, and learning objective constructionย 

  • Excellent written and interpersonal communication skillsย 

  • Experience working and collaborating with SMEs andย stakeholdersย to create robust content solutionsย 

  • Ability to self-manage and prioritize multiple development projects and deadlines, and adapt to project changesย 

  • Ability to present clear solutions that drive alignment and cross-functional buy-inย ย 

  • Ability to work with instructional design processes, tools, and templatesย 

  • Strong organizational skillsย 

  • Excellent attention to detailย 

  • Must provide work samples and/or portfolioย 

Required Education and Trainingย ย 

  • Minimum college degreeย requiredย (Instructional Design,ย Education,ย orย Science/Engineeringย degree preferred)ย 

  • Softwareย proficiency:ย

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, benefits, and equity. It would not be typical for someone to be hired at the top end of range for the role, as actual pay will be determined based on several factors, including experience, skills, and qualifications.
