To thrive as an EHR Implementation Manager, you need expertise in healthcare informatics, project management, and a solid understanding of electronic health record (EHR) systems, often supported by a bachelor’s degree and certifications like PMP or CPHIMS. Familiarity with EHR platforms (such as Epic or Cerner), implementation methodologies, and data migration tools is essential.
