The Boarding School Sales Advisor, Volleyball (Internally known as a Student-Athlete Advisor) role acts as a subject matter expert on Academy programming and provides prospective families with guidance and support throughout the Enrollment process. This role is responsible for prospecting, identifying, and generating interest in the Boarding School program to reach the Academy's enrollment goals. This role requires a flexible, proactive, and resourceful professional who can uncover potential customers, gather pertinent information, and qualify leads. The ideal candidate will have excellent research skills, be detail-oriented, and possess a strong ability to communicate and build relationships with teammates and prospective clients.
Position Responsibilities:
• Manage the full enrollment process for prospective Academy student-athletes and families from inquiry through enrollment.
• Guide families through the decision-making process by assessing needs and recommending appropriate IMG Academy programs.
• Build and manage a pipeline of prospective student-athletes through outreach, follow-up, and relationship management.
• Host prospective families through campus visits, tours, virtual meetings, and other enrollment events.
• Collaborate with Sport Directors and campus departments to achieve enrollment goals and ensure a seamless family experience.
• Develop and execute enrollment strategies that support sport-specific and Academy growth objectives.
• Identify opportunities to increase enrollment through referrals, partnerships, events, and other business development efforts.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of IMG Academy programs, offerings, and enrollment policies.
• Manage prospect, applicant, and enrollment data within CRM systems to support reporting and forecasting.
• Conduct financial conversations in accordance with Academy policies and enrollment objectives.
• Track performance metrics and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support team initiatives, special events, campus visits, and other cross-functional activities as needed.
• Participate in team meetings, training, and professional development opportunities.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, compliance requirements, and ethical business standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Bachelor's degree in an applicable field
• Experience with MS Office
• 3 years of Sales, Enrollment, Admissions, or College Recruiting experience
• Track record of sales revenue
• Experience cold calling, following up on leads and generating pipelines
• Desire to work collaboratively with colleagues
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience competing or coaching volleyball at the collegiate, or professional level
• Knowledge of High School and College landscape related to the sport
Preferred Skills:
• Masters in an applicable field
• Bilingual
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
• Ability to lift, move, push and pull equipment or boxes more than 40 pounds
• Should be able to handle outdoor temperatures for a reasonable period
• Must be able to move around campus which includes gym, turf, fields, etc.
• Ability to work flexible hours to include nights, weekends and holidays is required
