IXL Learning, developer of personalized learning products used by millions of people globally, is seeking an upbeat, focused, high-energy individual to join our Carson Dellosa Inside Sales team. Carson Dellosa Education, now a part of the IXL family of brands, was founded in 1977 by two teachers. Over forty years later, we remain committed to creating educational solutions for children, teachers, and parents-wherever they are needed.
The ideal candidate will be goal-oriented and tenacious with a natural sales instinct. You will have experience working with technology and assisting customers. We are looking for a self-starter that will support our rapidly growing customer base.
This position requires you to be in our Raleigh, NC, area office.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
  • Prospecting territory via calls and email and qualify inbound sales leads to communicate Carson Dellosa's value proposition to new users and to identify their requirements for the sales team
  • Ensure the timely processing of leads and assist with and support sales campaigns
  • Conduct web application product demonstrations virtually using screen share technology
  • Using CRM systems to manage relationships, maintain accurate sales pipeline and collecting and analyzing customer data
  • The ability to build and maintain relationships with potential clients, persuade them to purchase educational supplemental resources, and meet or exceed sales targets
  • The capability to effectively communicate and present information about educational supplemental resources to educators, schools, and other potential customers
  • Engaging in active listening and possessing interpersonal skills to better understand customer needs to formulate appropriate resource solutions
  • Understanding district buying cycles, market trends and competitor landscape is also essential
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
  • BA/BS degree required
  • 1+ years of sales experience, preferably with inside sales
  • K-12 teaching experience or other educational experience is a plus
  • A high level of self-motivation, energy and drive to succeed
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively
  • Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal (telephone) and written communications skills
  • Understanding of web applications
  • Ability to accommodate various domestic time zones is a plus
