Job Description:

Addison Group is seeking a Junior Administrative Assistant to support a specialty coatings and manufacturing organization in Apex, NC. This is a direct hire opportunity for an early-career professional with 1โ€“2 years of administrative experience who is interested in growing within a technical and manufacturing environment.


The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn. This role will provide administrative and operational support while partnering with teams including Technical Sales, Research & Development, and Applications.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Enter, organize, and maintain testing results, project information, and supporting documentation within laboratory files and internal systems.
  • Prepare project materials, customer samples, labels, forms, and documentation needed for testing and customer trials.
  • Assist with basic application formulations and coating applications following established procedures.
  • Support routine testing of completed samples for physical properties, color, appearance, and flammability.
  • Maintain accurate project records, sample documentation, and testing files.
  • Prepare basic summaries and assist with communicating project findings to internal teams.
  • Support customer trials and coordinate project-related activities onsite.
  • Communicate professionally with customers and internal teams regarding project updates and information gathering.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and properly stocked laboratory and administrative workspace.
  • Enter and retrieve information using SAP, Microsoft Office, and other internal systems.
  • Provide additional administrative and operational support as needed.


Qualifications:

  • Completed Bachelors degree is required
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or technical environment is helpful but not required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office required.
  • SAP experience preferred.
  • Strong time management skills, attention to detail, and ability to quickly learn new processes.
