As our digital business continues to grow, we are seeking an organized, detail-oriented, and proactive eCommerce & Marketplace Coordinator to help execute and optimize the day-to-day operations of our Shopify website and online marketplace channels.

This role serves as the execution backbone of the Spring Step Shoes eCommerce team, supporting Shopify, marketplaces, merchandising, product launches, promotional execution, reporting, catalog management, quality assurance, and cross-functional initiatives. Working closely with Marketing, Creative, Merchandising, Customer Service, Development, and Marketplace partners, this individual will ensure our digital channels remain accurate, optimized, and aligned with the Spring Step Shoes customer experience.

What You'll Do

Shopify Website Management & Digital Merchandising (35%)

  • Execute daily updates across SpringStepShoes.com, including homepage content, navigation, collections, landing pages, promotional banners, and seasonal campaigns.
  • Coordinate new product launches by creating and maintaining product listings, pricing, imagery, descriptions, sizing information, attributes, and collection placement.
  • Build and manage collections, tags, metafields, menus, and merchandising rules.
  • Execute merchandising updates based on inventory levels, promotional priorities, and seasonal strategies.
  • Support implementation of promotional campaigns, new website functionality, and Shopify enhancements.
  • Maintain a premium online shopping experience by ensuring website content remains accurate, visually appealing, and consistent with brand standards.
  • Perform ongoing quality assurance across desktop and mobile experiences to identify and resolve merchandising, navigation, pricing, or content issues.

Marketplace Operations & Catalog Management (30%)

Support daily operations across multiple online marketplaces, including:

  • Amazon
  • Macy's Marketplace
  • Target Plus
  • Walmart Marketplace
  • Additional marketplace partners as our business expands

Responsibilities include:

  • Create, update, and optimize marketplace product listings.
  • Maintain product titles, descriptions, images, attributes, pricing, inventory, and categorization.
  • Monitor catalog health, listing suppressions, and marketplace errors.
  • Perform routine catalog audits to ensure data accuracy across all sales channels.
  • Support marketplace SEO by optimizing titles, bullet points, backend attributes, keywords, and taxonomy.
  • Coordinate product launches and promotional updates across marketplace platforms.
  • Assist with marketplace integrations and product feed management using platforms such as Rithum (ChannelAdvisor), Mirakl, and other syndication tools.
  • Ensure a consistent brand experience across every digital sales channel.

Reporting, Analytics & Business Support (20%)

  • Build and maintain recurring reports that measure website performance, marketplace performance, product sales, promotional effectiveness, and inventory trends.
  • Audit website content, pricing, inventory, imagery, product detail pages, and merchandising to ensure accuracy.
  • Monitor product performance and identify opportunities to improve merchandising, conversions, and customer experience.
  • Support promotional analysis and campaign recap reporting.
  • Identify operational issues, product setup errors, inventory discrepancies, and marketplace opportunities.
  • Prepare reports and business insights for leadership meetings and cross-functional planning sessions.

Cross-Functional Project Coordination & Quality Assurance (15%)

  • Coordinate website projects, promotional launches, product introductions, and marketplace initiatives across multiple departments.
  • Partner with Creative to organize digital assets, photography, videos, and marketing content.
  • Maintain organized digital assets and documentation using SharePoint.
  • Assist with implementation and testing of new Shopify apps, integrations, website features, and digital technologies.
  • Help develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for eCommerce and marketplace operations.
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows, automation, reporting, and operational efficiency.
  • Perform ongoing quality assurance across Shopify, marketplaces, search, navigation, collections, promotions, checkout, and other customer-facing experiences to ensure a best-in-class online shopping experience.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of experience supporting an eCommerce, direct-to-consumer, or digital retail business.
  • Hands-on experience with Shopify preferred.
  • Experience managing online product catalogs, digital merchandising, and website content.
  • Experience working with online marketplaces such as Amazon, Macy's Marketplace, Walmart Marketplace, Target Plus, or similar platforms.
  • Strong understanding of eCommerce operations, merchandising, product setup, and customer experience best practices.
  • Experience performing website quality assurance and catalog audits.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, reporting, and data analysis.
  • Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while consistently meeting deadlines.
  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership, accountability, and follow-through.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Shopify Plus.
  • Experience with Rithum (ChannelAdvisor), Mirakl, or similar marketplace management platforms.
  • Experience with Google Analytics 4, Microsoft Clarity, and other website analytics tools.
  • Familiarity with Klaviyo, Attentive, or other eCommerce marketing platforms.
  • Experience using SharePoint for digital asset management.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and Shopify theme customization.
  • Experience working with product feeds and marketplace syndication.
  • Experience within footwear, fashion, apparel, or consumer retail.
