Job description

Job Title: Assistant Manager - eCommerce
Department: eCommerce
Location: Clearwater, Florida (SalonCentric National Operations Center)
Reports to: Content Manager of eCommerce
Summary:
As the Assistant Manager for eCommerce, you will execute digital eCommerce and marketing functions for SalonCentric.com and the SalonCentric App. You will be responsible for the seamless orchestration of content across multiple platforms and act as the critical link between high-level brand strategy and live user experience. This role requires a heavy focus on cross-functional collaboration and a relentless commitment to Quality Assurance (QA) to ensure best-in-class site performance and digital accuracy.
Key Job Accountabilities:
  • Take full ownership of the end-to-end deployment of digital assets across multiple CMS environments, including Salesforce Commerce Cloud (Page Designer) and Sitecore.

  • Serve as a key point of contact for the eCommerce Content, Merchandising, Marketing, Product, Loyalty, and Creative teams. You will translate their strategic visions into high-performing digital realities.
  • Lead the Quality Assurance (QA) process for all site and app content updates. You will be responsible for ensuring that promotional banners, site enhancements and product setup is bug-free, mobile-optimized, and aligned with UX best practices before going live.
  • Manage the intake of monthly requests and deliverables, ensuring that all digital products and campaign components are executed with 100% accuracy and on-schedule.
  • Omni-Channel Execution: Build and optimize content for both web and app interfaces, ensuring a consistent and premium "Pro-first" experience across the entire SalonCentric digital ecosystem.
  • Site Optimization & Experimentation: Support the Manager in the deployment and reporting of Google Analytics and site optimization initiatives to improve conversion rates and customer retention.

Required Experience / Training / Competencies:
  • Experience: 2-4 years of experience in eCommerce, Digital Marketing, or Web Operations is preferred.
  • CMS Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) and Sitecore is highly preferred. Experience with other enterprise-level CMS or Headless commerce environments is a significant plus.
  • The "QA Mindset": A relentless attention to detail. You should have experience in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and a "break-it-before-the-customer-sees-it" approach to site management.
  • Collaborative Influence: Proven ability to navigate a matrixed organization. You must be able to communicate effectively with both creative designers, marketers and technical product managers.
  • Customer-Centric UX Focus: A natural intuition for the user journey, ensuring that marketing goals never compromise the ease of the shopping experience.
  • Agility & Passion: Comfortable working in a high-velocity environment where digital priorities can shift rapidly.
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Business, or a related field.
  • Technical Tools: Proficient in Microsoft Suite (specifically advanced Excel for data tracking) and familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Trello, Figma or Wrike).
