Key Responsibilities
Production Associates may be responsible for:
• Using tools and equipment as directed by management to complete production tasks
• Working on assembly lines to support food processing and production flow
• Grading and inspecting products for quality
• Packing products according to company standards
• Preparing food products for packing, freezing, and shipment
• Handling, positioning, moving, and organizing materials throughout the production area
• Safely using knives, scissors, hand tools, and automatic tools when required
• Following all food safety, quality, and workplace safety procedures
• Wearing required personal protective equipment, including hairnet, beard net, gloves, cut gloves, smocks, aprons, boots, and ear protection
• Performing other production duties as assigned by the supervisor when trained or qualified
Qualifications
Qualified candidates should be able to:
• Work in a fast-paced food production or manufacturing environment
• Stand or sit for long periods of time
• Repetitively lift, push, pull, and carry between 10 and 50 pounds
• Use both hands to handle tools, materials, and products
• Safely work with sharp instruments, including knives and scissors
• See details at close range for grading and inspection tasks
• Work in hot, cold, wet, or refrigerated environments
• Perform repetitive motions throughout the shift
• Follow instructions and communicate professionally with team members and supervisors
• Work required hours with a set start time and remain until the production process is complete
