About the Role

Our Beauty & Wellness division empowers consumers with trusted products that support self‑care, from salon-quality styling tools to wellness devices like humidifiers and air purifiers. This business unit includes Braun, PUR, Honeywell, Vicks, Hot Tools, Drybar, Curlsmith, and Revlon brands, and this role may support one or more of these brands.

The Vice President of Marketing for the Beauty portfolio owns the Global Brand building and the US+Canada P&L. The individual provides leadership, strategic direction, and business delivery for the company’s Beauty portfolio, including iconic brands such as Revlon, Hot Tools, Curlsmith and Drybar.

Boston, MA – Hybrid (work 3 days onsite, Tuesdays‑Thursday; remote Mondays & Fridays)

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the larger Brand Marketing, e‑commerce, media, and creative team of ~45 members and act as a critical member of the Beauty Lead Team (BLT), collaborating with the VP of Sales, VP of Innovation, and Beauty Finance lead.
  • Manage subordinate supervisors and non‑supervisory employees, including interviews, hires, training, performance appraisals, and employee counseling.
  • Drive strategic and annual planning for the Beauty marketing and business strategy, including long‑term planning, brand positioning, and growth objectives.
  • Partner with Global Product Innovation to ensure readiness of key product launches in support of the strategic plan; lead commercial innovation initiatives such as claims, platforms, and collaborations.
  • Own global brand building and positioning, maintaining brand foundational elements—vision, mission, purpose, equity pyramids, brand hearts, and style guides—and steward brand equity throughout commercial plans.
  • Oversee creative direction, ensuring all creative outputs align with strategy and brand; manage global communication planning and strategy, including the creation of global asset toolkits for regional markets.
  • Deliver US+Canada P&L, responsible for marketing P&L, gross‑revenue forecast, weekly POS tracking, NPD trackers, and channel strategy alignment with Sales.
  • Coordinate 360‑planning and integrated agency coordination to deliver “Perfect Storms” of marketing, media, and merchandising.
  • Coordinate marketing communications—including branding, public relations, advertising, digital, events, collateral, website design, and content strategy—directly or through outsourcing.
  • Partner with Consumer Insights for custom research to support brand building, brand health tracking, and commercial innovation needs.
  • Lead the US & Canada DTC efforts for Curlsmith & Drybar, managing direct‑to‑consumer P&Ls.
  • Build and develop a high‑performance team comprising Global Integrated Marketing, Local Marketing, DTC, Social, Influencer, PR, Creative, and Media specialists.
Required Skills and Experience
  • Ability to plan and manage concurrently at both a strategic and operational level.
  • Exceptional track record of developing and implementing marketing and sales strategies that consistently meet or exceed planned objectives.
  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills, working effectively with cross‑functional teams and external partners.
  • Experience managing outsourced marketing activities for research, media, or creative services.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working with upper management and retailers across mass merchandisers, food/drug, and consumer‑packaged goods.
  • Capacity to assume more significant executive responsibilities over time.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • 12+ years of marketing experience in the beauty industry, with at least 4 years in a senior management position.
Preferred Qualifications
  • MBA.
Compensation & Benefits

Base salary range for this role in Massachusetts: $207,000–$290,000 annually (actual salaries vary by location, experience, skill level, and performance). Total compensation may include bonus, healthcare, dental, vision, paid holidays, paid parental leave, 401(k) with company match, basic life insurance, short‑term and long‑term disability, paid time off, paid charitable leave, and educational assistance.
