Job Title

Responsibilities

Complete routine tasks involving annuity and/or life insurance applications Process incoming, outgoing, and return mail and document scanning for automated workflow and image storage. Process incoming internal and external telephone requests for information and service. Process changes to existing policies as well as process duplicate statements. Process premium, applications, incoming/outgoing Section 1035 Exchanges & qualified funds transfers, and issue policies. Process partial and full distributions, systematic payouts, and death claims. Process a variety of routine policyholder service requests and administrative functions. Tax reporting as required. Process agent appointments, licenses, and terminations as well as commissions and selling agreements. Compliance with both IMSA Code of Ethics and SEC regulations that require variable financial transactions be processed the same day received.

Qualifications

Up to 1-2 years customer service and/or office experience. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Basic understanding of annuity and life insurance concepts. Able to use computer software, including Microsoft Word and Excel.

Preferred Qualifications

Outgoing personality with ability to communicate effectively to a variety of audiences. Organized and flexible to adjust to changes in schedule, while meeting time-sensitive service level standards and deadlines. Excellent number recognition skills and proficient data entry skills. Actively seeking additional financial services knowledge through LOMA/AAPA programs.
