Shift: Shift 2

Shift Details: 11a-7:30p with training on first shift for the first 3-6 months Holidays: No Weekends: No

Job Summary:

Provides support for the enterprise electronic health record (EHR). This person ensures that all Froedtert and the Medical College of Wisconsin inpatient and ambulatory records are located within the EHR through accurate prepping, scanning, and indexing of medical records while meeting turnaround-times and quality and performance standards. Performs quality checks on documentation received from clinical departments. Properly cleans and maintains scanners and reports hardware and software scanning equipment problems. Provide weekend and holiday coverage as scheduled. Other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION:

A minimum of 1 year of Health Information Management experience is preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred.

EDUCATION DESCRIPTION:

High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.

SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION:

Detail oriented and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritizing in a fast paced environment. Demonstrates proficient knowledge of computers and scanning equipment. Must be able to work quickly while maintaining quality standards
