Standard Hours: 40.00
Shift: Shift 1
Shift Details: Monday-Friday 8:35am to 5:05pm
Job Summary:
Schedules imaging and hospital ancillary services using the department's electronic medical record (EPIC). Responds to telephone scheduling inquiries and provides knowledgeable and courteous assistance with all customers including patients, referring physicians, co-workers and leadership. Works calmly and efficiently while handling heavy telephone demands. Answers calls promptly and in a polite and efficient manner. Other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION:
A minimum 2 years of experience required in any one or a combination of the following: patient administration, logistics coordination and/or a call center. A minimum of one year of Imaging Scheduling Experience is preferred. Previous experience with EPIC scheduling is highly preferred.
EDUCATION DESCRIPTION:
High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.
SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION:
Excellent customer service skills for effectively communicating with all scheduling customers is required. Ability to use standard office equipment: copier, computer terminal, document scanner and printer, fax machine and multi-line telephone. Typing speed of 35 wpm.

Pay is expected to be between: (expressed as hourly) $20.01 - $26.61. Final compensation is based on experience and will be discussed with you by the recruiter during the interview process.
