This role is a hybrid position at our Fairport, NY office.

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Controller to join our team in Fairport, NY. The Controller will be responsible for monthly reporting, year-end close, accounts receivable and payable, and treasury functions, in coordination with a Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) partner. Additionally, this role will support tax and accounting audits, and collaborate with local and international teams to ensure accurate and compliant financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own standard accounting procedures including:
    • Preparing journal entries.
    • Generating general ledger account reconciliations, resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.
    • Recording, researching, and reconcile intercompany transactions.
    • Performing variance analysis to ensure financial statement accuracy.
    • Supporting the preparation of month-end and year-end reporting packages.
    • Performing additional duties as needed to support the close.
  • Coordinate with the BPO partner to ensure timely and accurate processing of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other financial transactions.
  • Support tax and accounting audits.
  • Coordinate with local and international teams to ensure consistency and accuracy in financial reporting across different regions.
  • Collaborate closely with the international Treasury department to manage cash flow, liquidity, and financial risk management.
  • Support internal controls and procedures to ensure the integrity of financial data and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
  • Stay current with accounting standards and regulations and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Participate in the continuous improvement of accounting processes and systems.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field required.
  • 5 or more years of experience in accounting or finance required.
  • CPA certification or CPA candidate is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
  • Experience working with BPO partners preferred.
  • Experience coordinating with international teams preferred.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (SAP highly preferred) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Additional Information

The U.S. based salary range for this full-time role is $120,000-$130,000 annually. Within the range, individual pay is determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to, work experience and job knowledge, complexity of the role, job location, etc.

In addition to base salary, full-time employees are eligible to participate in Keenfinity Group's (US) Health and Welfare Benefit Plans-including medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance-as well as the company's 401(k) plan, subject to the terms and conditions of the respective plan documents. Full-time employees are eligible to participate in Keenfinity Group's paid time off and sick leave programs in accordance with applicable policies.
