Location: Houston, TX 77072
Duration: 12+ Months
Pay Rate: $24.00–$26.00/hr (W-2)
Job Summary
The Document Control Manager/Admin is responsible for organizing, maintaining, and distributing company and project documentation while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery between the company, clients, and vendors.
Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver documentation to field and plant operations on time and per company standards
  • Ensure safe, accurate, and timely document delivery to internal and external stakeholders
  • Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence using proper transmittals
  • Review and verify project documents for completeness, format, and contract compliance
  • Protect confidential and proprietary information
  • Develop internal and external contacts to gather service quality feedback and drive improvements
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives related to documentation standards, systems, and tools
  • Develop and maintain documentation systems, processes, and training materials
  • Train and support project teams on document control tools
Education
  • Minimum: High School Diploma + 3 years of document control management experience
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Process Management, Business Administration, Information Management, Engineering, QA, HR, or related field
Experience
  • Minimum: 2 years of project document control experience
  • Preferred: 3–5 years in engineering, manufacturing, construction, or oilfield services environments
