Description
The JF Petroleum Group stands as a premier leader in the North American fueling infrastructure industry, offering comprehensive turn-key solutions for distribution, construction, and service needs. We serve a diverse clientele including retail fueling stations, commercial and government fleets, and emergency power customers.
The Distribution Center Manager "owns the building," overseeing all operational and administrative facets of the Distribution Center (DC) to ensure compliance with all Company guidelines, policies and federal and state regulations in order to protect the Company's assets. The DC Manager is accountable for delivering performance in each of the five Balanced Scorecard dimensions: safety, quality, delivery, cost, and people. The DC Manager develops and leads talent with the DC across the warehouse, delivery, and administrative departments. The DC will successfully manage day to day operations for a fast-paced 35,000 square feet DC, to include receiving, shipping, inventory management, core/warranty handling, and other tasks that arise during the daily operations. This position will manage 5-10 hourly associates, 1 salaried direct reports, certificates/licenses, and any training requirements. Pay range: $80-95k/yr dependent on experience
Job Duties:
  • Manage a team that ships orders by processing transfers and creating sales orders in NAV/P21. Pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in designated delivery areas.
  • Ensure mobile equipment inspections and preventive maintenance is being completed in a timely manner.
  • Oversee the successful operation of the staging location to include customer owned material tracking.
  • Responsible for physical inventory and cycle count activities, product movement and placement. Perform duties required for receiving, identifying, labeling, material restock, put away, pick, pack, and ship activities all while maintaining quality and productivity standards
  • Research receiving PO's, shipping SO's for customers and Service Technicians in a timely manner.
  • Launch and maintain a proper 5s program
  • Manage customer core returns and warranty returns department to ensure KPI's are met.
  • Meet or exceed customer service standards and abide by J&F policies and procedures.
  • Develops warehouse operations system improvements by analyzing process workflow, manning and space requirements, and equipment layout; implementing changes.
  • Work in a safe and healthy work manner, following company safety guidelines, wearing appropriate safety equipment when required, and complying with industry standards and procedures. Enforces property protection and access policies and procedures.

Requirements
  • Highschool Diploma or GED required
  • General knowledge of modern warehouse and inventory control systems.
  • Experience with warehouse cycle count activities, shipping, receiving, and storage.
  • Experience with bar coding, data entry and ERP systems.
  • 3-5 years of Warehouse Operations / Supervisory experience 7+ direct reports
  • Excellent Communication / Written Skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Must be able to meet company's employment requirements, which includes passing a drug screen, criminal background check, and MVR, if driving for the company
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to repetitively lift, carry, push, pull up to 50 pounds, frequent bending, stooping, standing 8-10 hours per day.
