- Collaborer avec l’équipe d’amélioration continue et être responsable de l’instauration d’une culture d’amélioration continue à l’échelle du centre de distribution, visant à réduire les gaspillages dans l’ensemble des processus de distribution grce aux outils d’amélioration continue et aux techniques sans gaspillage de réingénierie des processus.
- Comprendre les attentes des clients internes et externes en matière de service à la clientèle, en établissant et en maintenant des relations efficaces, et en élaborant des stratégies rentables pour répondre à ces attentes.
- Mettre en œuvre et faire respecter tous les programmes environnementaux, de santé et de sécurité afin d’assurer leur conformité et leur efficacité.
- Favoriser un changement de culture vers la fabrication sans gaspillage et l’amélioration continue.
- Diriger et mettre en œuvre des projets de fabrication sans gaspillage pour améliorer la qualité, le flux de matériaux, le débit et la productivité, et veiller à la pérennité des résultats.
- Développer des normes et des processus de performance pour optimiser les opérations, la satisfaction de la clientèle et la maîtrise des coûts.
- Obtenir et maintenir les exigences en matière de métriques de performance pour le personnel.
- Élaborer des plans de contingence pour assurer les services en cas de situation d’urgence.
- Identifier les nouvelles technologies grce à une expérience préalable dans les domaines de la logistique, du transport et des logiciels d’entreposage liés à l’optimisation, au « suivi et traçabilité des actifs » ainsi qu’aux systèmes de gestion d’entrepôt (WMS).
- Rechercher, valider et mettre en œuvre de façon proactive les nouvelles technologies mentionnées ci-dessus, dans le but global d’accroître l’efficacité et d’améliorer le service à la clientèle.
- Participer à et soutenir l’élaboration, la formation et la vérification post-mise en œuvre de toutes les procédures opérationnelles normalisées.
- Communiquer fréquemment et efficacement avec les employés de l’installation sur toutes les questions afin de créer un milieu de travail engagé.
- Gérer les objectifs financiers, les programmes d’investissement en capital, les budgets et les plans opérationnels.
- Mesurer et rapporter les indicateurs de performance financière par rapport au budget.
- Recommander des allocations et/ou des ajustements au budget logistique en réponse à l’évolution des conditions.
- Développer un portefeuille de nouvelles idées (activités Kaizen) liées à l’efficacité des coûts, aux améliorations du service et à la réduction des stocks.
- Travailler efficacement en partenariat avec les ressources humaines sur toutes les questions de relations de travail et d’amélioration de la culture organisationnelle.
- Assurer la conformité à toutes les lois et règlements locaux, provinciaux et fédéraux.
Doit être admissible à voyager aux États-Unis et capable de parler anglais.
- Baccalauréat en génie industriel, en logistique ou dans une discipline connexe liée aux opérations est exigé; une maîtrise est fortement souhaitée.
- 5 années ou plus d’expérience en opérations, avec une responsabilité progressivement croissante, dont au moins 3 ans dans un rôle de direction au sein d’un centre de distribution ou d’un entrepôt dans le secteur des biens de consommation.
- Expérience avec les principes d’amélioration continue tels que Kaizen, 5S, Lean, Six Sigma, etc., exigée.
- Expérience avec les systèmes de gestion d’entrepôt (WMS), les systèmes de transport et les logiciels de slotting d’entrepôt.
- Expérience en gestion de flotte privée et en livraison au détail.
- Expérience avec SAP, un atout.
