Job description

Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for an Asset Disposition Tech 1 (Production & Safety-Oriented) role in Clackamas, OR. Our client is a well-established industry leader known for innovation and a commitment to delivering the highest quality operational standards. With a focus on continuous improvement, they pride themselves on maintaining excellence at every stage of their manufacturing and asset recovery process.

Key Responsibilities:
· Execute asset disposition tasks including sorting, evaluating, processing, and documenting returned or retired production equipment and materials.
· Support production flow by ensuring cleared materials and equipment are properly removed, staged, or routed to the appropriate disposition channel.
· Operate basic tools and equipment safely to disassemble, move, and organize assets as needed.
· Conduct quality and condition assessments of returned or end-of-life assets following company guidelines.
· Maintain safety protocols at all times, including PPE usage and adherence to OSHA and site-specific safety standards.
· Assist in maintaining clean, organized, and efficient work areas to support smooth production flow.
· Accurately document asset status, movement, and disposition activities in tracking systems.
· Collaborate with production, warehouse, and logistics teams to minimize bottlenecks and maintain workflow efficiency.
· Identify and report safety hazards, equipment concerns, or process inefficiencies to supervisors promptly.
· Support continuous improvement efforts by following standardized procedures and suggesting workflow enhancements.

Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent preferred; warehouse, production, or manufacturing experience is a plus.
· Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs and stand/walk for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and accuracy.
· Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
· Basic computer or handheld scanner experience preferred but not required.
· Flexibility to work assigned shifts, including possible overtime as needed.
· Safety-minded with a proactive approach to maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
