About the role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our Technology team as a Hybrid Project Manager / Business Analyst. This unique role combines the critical skills of project management with the analytical expertise of a business analyst. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, technology integration, business analysis, data management, and streamlining/automation of repetitive processes, particularly within the investment management industry. This role requires a proactive leader with excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
What you will do
Project Management:
* Lead and manage projects and parts of larger projects from initiation to completion, ensuring objectives are met within scope, time, and budget.
* Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, risk management strategies, and prioritization.
* Coordinate with multi-functional teams, collaborators, and external vendors to ensure seamless project execution.
* Monitor project progress, proactively addressing any issues or roadblocks.
* Uphold project management best practices and company standards, ensuring comprehensive documentation.
* Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management and collaborators.
* Coordinate vendor integration projects, including data mapping, business use case definition, and business function mapping.
* Lead the full lifecycle of vendor integration, from initial business requirements and vendor selection to implementation and business model integration.
Business Analysis:
* Perform in-depth analysis of business processes, systems, and user needs to identify improvement opportunities.
* Elicit, document, and manage business requirements through interviews, workshops, and data analysis.
* Develop functional specifications, process diagrams, and use cases for communication with technical teams.

Compensation
Salary Range: $145,900 - $197,400 plus eligibility for annual bonus program.
Who you are
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Information Technology, or a related field. An advanced degree or certification (e.g., MBA, PMP) is preferred.
  • 5-7 years of experience in the investment management industry.
  • Consistent track record in project management and business analysis, with successful project delivery.
  • Advanced understanding of investment systems and full-cycle vendor product management.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex business processes into actionable requirements.
  • Prior experience in the fixed income asset class.
  • Advanced level knowledge of Power BI, SQL and Office 365 and solid understanding of VBA and other automation tools.
