Command Center Dispatcher

Experienced Dispatcher needed in Marysville, OH

  • FT & PT/All Shifts - $19.82/hr - Weekly Pay

Responsibilities:

  • Be vigilant at all times.
  • Able to problem solve and critical think in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to multitask, especially in high stress/volume situations.
  • Monitor company radio and fire alarm systems (Simplex/Siemens) for any issues such as fire, medical, water flow, etc.
  • Dispatch for all types of emergency situations (i.e., medical, fire, chemical, Workplace violence, active threat).
  • Keep detailed logs of any pertinent information or incidents.
  • Monitor Travel sites for travel warnings; report any changes to proper personnel.
  • Monitor news networks for travel threats or active threats; report any changes to proper personnel.
  • Monitor weather for the counties in which our plant locations are in along with surrounding counties; report severe/winter weather to proper personnel and follow proper procedures to ensure life/safety is met.
  • Monitor door alarms and dispatch guard personnel accordingly.
  • Monitor panic alarms and dispatch security personnel accordingly.
  • Arrange medical transports as needed for associates and contingents.
  • Report any tech related issues for security equipment and hardware to security technicians’ group.
  • Dispatch Maintenance personnel for alarms or when issues have been reported.
  • Monitor cameras for suspicious activity (i.e., vandalism, loitering) and access control (i.e., validations, double scan activity).
  • Answer phone calls – general and emergency.
  • Know where to locate the information to be able to handle emergency calls of any type. (Medical, fire, active threat, weather, D&A etc.)
  • Perform daily/weekly/yearly testing of emergency tone, alarms, evacuation and take shelter drills.
  • Validate Associates at various locations following Safe and Secure protocol.
  • Manage Pass ID email outside of general business hours.
  • Keep key personnel informed of situations.
  • Fulfill any duties dictated by the site manager, on-site responder or client administration.

Qualifications:

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Possess High School diploma or equivalent
  • Possess a valid driver's license
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
  • Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guards

  • Dispatch experience preferred
