Job description

Job Title: Dispatcher
Client: ATM Machines Manufacturing Company
Location: North Canton, OH 44720
Duration: 12 Months (with possibility of extension)
Shift: 8:00 AM - 4.30 PM
| Monday - Friday
Description
The Dispatcher will provide scheduling and call management support using the Call Management System for customers, field technicians, and internal teams. This role requires strong multitasking, communication, and problem-solving skills to ensure service requests are handled efficiently while maintaining Service Level Agreements (SLAs). The position also involves supporting special projects for high-visibility customers and includes evening and weekend hours.
Responsibilities
  • Manage and monitor the Call Management System to ensure SLAs are achieved and technicians are actively assigned.
  • Continuously review "white space" in scheduling to maximize technician productivity.
  • Escalate urgent service needs, technician issues, and incomplete calls until resolution.
  • Monitor duplicate calls and bundle them as needed for efficiency.
  • Coordinate parts ordering/shipping with technicians and schedule calls accordingly.
  • Dispatch calls to Flex Labor Partners and oversee them through completion.
  • Track technician unavailability during emergencies and report to the business team.
  • Proactively problem-solve, participate in conference calls, and analyze call volumes and trends.
  • Contact customers with estimated arrival times and provide updates as needed.
  • Document and share customer dissatisfaction, field issues, and positive technician recognition with the business team.
  • Provide focused support for special projects and high-visibility customers.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Self-directed individual with strong multitasking ability.
  • 1-3 years of experience in customer service, call center, or related field.
  • Associate degree preferred (or equivalent relevant experience).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and PC-based applications.
  • Strong logic, problem-solving, and business efficiency understanding.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; able to interface effectively with customers, technicians, and suppliers at all levels.
  • Team-oriented with the ability to work collaboratively in dynamic environments.

Additional Notes
  • Must be flexible to work varied shifts, evenings, and weekends as scheduled.
  • Minimal business travel required.
