Role Overview: 

The Dispatcher serves as a critical logistics manager responsible for ensuring a 5-star white glove experience for customers while effectively managing job production for window, door, and siding installations. This role requires a deep understanding of logistics, including the geographical layout of job sites, to optimize the placement of manpower and resources. The Dispatcher will strategically schedule and assign the best installers to the appropriate jobs with help from the Installation Manager, minimizing travel time, and maximizing productivity. This involves analyzing job locations, understanding construction work processes, and coordinating schedules to ensure that installers can efficiently move between job sites.

Responsibilities: 

  • Prioritize delivering a 5-star white glove experience for every customer, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded throughout the installation process.
  • Assess the capabilities of each installation crew and assign them to jobs that align with their strengths, ensuring optimal performance and quality of work.
  • Schedule jobs strategically to minimize windshield time and maximize productivity, ensuring that installers spend more time on-site and less time traveling.
  • Utilize knowledge of local geography to optimize job assignments and routes, ensuring that crews can efficiently navigate to job sites while minimizing delays.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed notes in the CRM system for all jobs, including scheduling, progress updates, and any issues encountered, to facilitate effective communication and tracking.
  • Keep all relevant departments informed of job status and progress, addressing any potential issues proactively to ensure smooth operations.
  • Anticipate scheduling needs and plan approximately three weeks ahead to adapt to any changes or delays, ensuring that the schedule remains on track and efficient.
  • Track installation completion metrics and strive to meet or exceed daily financial targets, ensuring that production goals are achieved without compromising customer satisfaction
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the company's products or services to offer accurate information and guidance.
  • Utilize clear and professional communication, employing active listening skills to comprehend customer concerns and needs.
  • Handle customer orders, modifications, and cancellations efficiently, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Role Requirements

  • 3+ years of dispatching, logistics coordination, or related experience required
  • Experience managing a fleet or team of at least 20 vehicles or crews simultaneously; construction or home services industry background strongly preferred
  • Personable, team-oriented, and able to earn trust across a diverse team; ownership mentality with a track record of accountability
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; calm, clear, and professional under pressure — strong phone presence is essential
  • Strong computer skills; experience with dispatch, GPS, CRM, or tracking software a plus
  • Highly organized, solutions-oriented, and able to multitask and maintain accuracy during high-volume periods

Logistics:

  • Location: Fishers, IN
  • 100% On-Site, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
  • Compensation between $56k - $64k dependent on experience.
  • Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check
