Job description

  • Coordinate and oversee daily dispatch operations, including route assignments and driver check-out/check-in.
  • Assign and optimize delivery routes for efficiency.
  • Monitor delivery progress using Amazon systems such as Cortex and Flex, and provide real-time support to Delivery Associates (DAs).
  • Troubleshoot issues such as route delays, vehicle breakdowns, delivery exceptions, and emergencies.
  • Communicate effectively with drivers, management, and Amazon support teams.
  • Ensure all drivers adhere to safety protocols, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct daily safety briefings during stand-up meetings.
  • Monitor driver behavior, including speeding, harsh braking, and distractions, using telematics tools, and provide coaching as needed.
  • Track, report, and escalate safety incidents, near-misses, and violations.
  • Coordinate emergency response in case of accidents or on-road incidents.
  • Ensure all vehicles meet safety and operational standards prior to dispatch.
  • Assist with reassigning routes or packages as needed to ensure completion.
  • Track and report key performance metrics, including on-time delivery, route completion, and safety performance.
  • Maintain accurate records and logs for both operational and safety activities.
  • Partner with management to drive continuous improvement in delivery efficiency and safety performance.

  • Availability to work weekends.
