Excellent problem-solving abilities, calmness under pressure, and clear communication are essential soft skills for coordinating logistics during off-hours. These capabilities are crucial for ensuring efficient operations, timely responses, and safety in overnight or emergency situations.

In this role, you will join a global leader in electrical distribution, at our high-volume distribution center off Commerce Parkway. • Verify delivery accuracy, weight distribution specifications, and product types comprehensively before finalizing vehicle dispatch.
  • Safely operate and monitor essential loadout equipment, including conveyor systems, automated loaders, and industrial staging machinery.
  • Communicate effectively with route drivers, facility dispatchers, and supervisors regarding shipping statuses and gate timing.

What we’re looking for

  • A dependable night-owl fully committed to a consistent overnight schedule (Monday night through Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM).
  • Previous experience in truck loading, cross-docking, shipping/receiving, or general high-volume warehouse operations is preferred.
  • Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and move continuously in an active industrial environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 10–40 lbs comfortably and work efficiently around shipping bays exposed to varying weather conditions.
  • Strong basic communication and detail-oriented skills to verify physical inventory against written cargo manifests.

This is a temporary/contract position. While benefits (Health, 401k, PTO) are not provided during the contract period, they may become available upon successful conversion to a permanent role..
