About the role

As a User Acquisition Marketing Manager, you'll be responsible for successfully executing on our user acquisition strategy. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams in order to reach aggressive company growth goals and report directly to the director of performance marketing. This is an opportunity to help shape the next phase of growth for one of the most beloved parenting apps in the world.ย

This is a 40-hour per week, 12-month contract on a 1099 basis.
Areas of responsibility
  • Plan, launch, and manage global app and web paid acquisition campaigns across channels like Google, Meta, TikTok, and others, while maintaining our CAC and ROAS targets.

  • Conduct thorough data analysis to identify trends and opportunities for campaign performance optimization.

  • Manage and optimize a multi-million dollar budget across paid media channels.

  • Partner closely with creative and brand teams to develop scalable ad creatives and performance-driven messaging strategies.

  • Explore and evaluate user growth opportunities and prioritize by impact.

  • Build and manage testing frameworks (A/B tests, creative/ad copy experiments, audience tests, bid tests).

  • Act as liaison to our affiliate marketing agency and manage key relationships with our ad platform partners.

  • Collaborate with product, data science, and lifecycle marketing teams to improve acquisition-to-retention performance.

  • Contribute to overall growth strategy and identify new acquisition channels, audience opportunities, and scalable growth levers.

Requirements
  • 4+ years of relevant work experience.ย 

  • In-depth understanding and hands-on experience with major advertising platforms such as Google Ads, Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, and Apple Search Ads. Additional platforms and ad networks are a plus.

  • Experience working with an MMP (e.g., AppsFlyer).

  • Experience working with data analytics platforms (e.g., Amplitude).

  • Experience running lift tests.

  • Strong analytical and reporting skills.

  • Technical knowledge and experience setting up conversion tracking.

  • Excellent sense of accountability and ownership.

  • A blend of creative and analytical approaches to problem-solving.

Nice to have
  • Comfortable working within a fast-paced environment and leveraging AI tools.

  • Ability to work with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle the uncertainties and ambiguities you might encounter in a typical startup environment.

  • ASO experience is a plus.

  • Experience with Web2App marketing campaigns.

  • Experience with subscription businesses.

  • Affiliate marketing experience is a plus.
