We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team at Maternal Postpartum Mental Support, Inc. This full-time position is a remote role focusing on delivering high-quality mental health care to individuals, couples, and families in need, particularly in the postpartum context. As a key member of our team, you will be instrumental in fostering mental wellness and resilience among our clients.

This position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility and work-life balance. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health to understand their unique challenges and goals.
  • Design and implement personalized treatment plans that cater specifically to individual, couple, and family dynamics.
  • Provide therapeutic interventions through various modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness techniques, and solution-focused therapy.
  • Continuously evaluate client progress, modifying treatment approaches based on ongoing assessments and feedback.
  • Maintain meticulous and secure documentation of client sessions, treatment plans, and progress notes to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate actively with interdisciplinary team members, including psychiatrists and social workers, to coordinate care for clients.
  • Adhere strictly to ethical guidelines and legal standards to ensure the safety and confidentiality of all client interactions.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be working with individuals experiencing postpartum challenges, including but not limited to postpartum depression, anxiety, and adjustment disorders. Our clients often include new mothers and fathers seeking support as they navigate the emotional and psychological impacts of becoming a parent. Your role will significantly contribute to their coping mechanisms and overall well-being, creating a positive ripple effect in their families.

Qualifications
  • A bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field is required. A master's degree is preferred.
  • Active licensure in Arizona as an LMFT, LPC, LCSW, or PsyD is essential.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in therapy or mental health counseling is needed, particularly with maternal mental health.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with a proven ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations.
  • Strong organizational abilities and proficiency in managing caseloads independently while collaborating with team members.
  • In-depth knowledge of evidence-based treatment methodologies and interventions related to mental health and postpartum care.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working specifically with postpartum patients or in maternal mental health settings is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with teletherapy tools and virtual engagement platforms is a plus.
  • Track record of developing treatment plans that exhibit measurable client progress.
Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is between USD 80,000 and 104,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
