As a Software Engineer in Partner Engineering, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping technical solutions that directly impact our top-tier partners. You'll collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, bridging gaps between engineering, product, and partner teams. This is a hands-on role where you'll design, implement, and optimize solutions that help our partners succeed in a fast-evolving mobile ecosystem.
Responsibilities:
  • Build deep technical expertise in Liftoff products to maximize customer impact.
  • Drive successful client outcomes by translating complex business requirements into high-impact, scalable technical solutions.
  • Own the end-to-end technical lifecycle for partner integrations, ensuring seamless launches from initial onboarding through steady-state maintenance.
  • Innovate by refining Liftoff's tools and products based on direct customer and partner feedback.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve reported issues, implementing automated solutions to prevent recurrence.
  • Collaborate across teams to ensure seamless and consistent partner experiences.
  • Foster engineering excellence through design, risk-driven testing, and code review.

Requirements
  • 5+ years of related experience; adtech industry experience a plus
  • Bachelor's Degree; Computer Science, Data/ Analytics a plus
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language like Golang, Python, JavaScript, or Java.
  • Strong SQL and big data analysis skills.
  • Customer empathy and a passion for problem-solving.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Clear communication skills with a customer-focused mindset.

This role is eligible for full-time remote work in one of our entities: CA, CO, ID, IL, FL, GA, MA, MI, MN, MO, NJ, NV, NY, OR, PA, TX, UT, and WA
We are a remote-first company with US hubs in Redwood City, Los Angeles, and New York City.
Travel Expectations:
We offer several opportunities for in-person team gatherings, including but not limited to project meetings, regional meetups, and company-wide events. We expect our employees to attend these gatherings at least once per quarter. These gatherings provide essential opportunities for collaboration, communication, and team building.
Compensation:
Liftoff offers all employees a full compensation package that includes equity and health/vision/dental benefits associated with your country of residence. Base compensation will vary based on candidate location and experience.
The following are our base salary ranges for multiple levels:
  • SF Bay Area, NYC, Los Angeles/Orange County, Seattle: $165,000 - $205,000
  • All other CA cities, Portland, all other WA cities, Denver, Austin, Boston: $151,000 - $188,000
  • All other cities and towns in our approved states: $141,000 - $176,000
