Occupational Therapist / Director of Rehabilitation

Job Summary

Provides OT services under supervision of a licensed OT. Assists patients in regaining daily living and independence.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Carry out OT treatment plans.
  • Instruct patients in adaptive equipment and self-care.
  • Document services and report progress to OT.
  • Collaborate with therapy and nursing staff.
Qualifications
  • Associate's Degree from accredited OTA program.
  • Current state license.
  • Experience preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities- KSAs
  • Knowledge of OT activities.
  • Ability to follow OT instructions.
  • Strong communication skills.
Physical & Environmental Requirements
  • Lifting, standing, walking, bending.
  • Healthcare and LTC facility environment.
