Your Role as an OTA:

  • Provide hands-on therapy to patients under the guidance of an Occupational Therapist, following a physician-directed treatment plan.
  • Track and document progress through daily notes, weekly reports, and required evaluations.
  • Support Restorative Aide training to ensure patients receive ongoing care.
  • Collaborate with the care team to adjust therapy plans and discuss patient needs.
  • Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and strategies for continued progress after discharge.
  • Maintain a safe and clean treatment area, ensuring equipment is in good working order.

What You Bring to the Team:

Licensed OTA in Texas, maintaining good standing with the state board.
Proficiency in electronic documentation systems (Casamba, Point Click Care preferred).
Strong communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with staff, patients, and families.
Ability to adapt and problem-solve in a dynamic healthcare setting.
Passion for helping others regain independence and improve their quality of life!

Physical & Work Environment Expectations:

  • Frequent standing, walking, reaching, and pushing/pulling.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. frequently and 100 lbs. occasionally.
  • A fast-paced but supportive and team-oriented environment.
