Job description

Our client is seeking an experienced, strategic, and results-driven Director of Recruiting to lead and oversee all recruiting and talent acquisition efforts across our multi-state property management portfolio.

This leadership role is responsible for developing and executing recruiting strategies, building talent pipelines, improving hiring processes, reducing time-to-fill, strengthening employer branding, and ensuring the company attracts and retains top talent. The Director of Recruiting will partner closely with executive leadership, operations, and hiring managers to support the company's growth and staffing objectives.

We are seeking a proactive leader who understands that successful recruiting is not simply posting jobs and reviewing resumesโ€”it is building relationships, developing sourcing strategies, creating talent pipelines, and driving measurable hiring results.

Key Responsibilities:

Talent Acquisition Leadership & Strategy

ยท Lead all recruiting efforts for property-level, maintenance, corporate, and leadership positions

ยท Develop and execute strategic recruiting plans aligned with company growth objectives

ยท Create and maintain talent pipelines for difficult-to-fill and high-priority positions

ยท Oversee sourcing strategies across LinkedIn, Indeed, referrals, social media, industry networks, trade schools, and other recruiting channels

ยท Develop innovative approaches to attract passive candidates

ยท Monitor recruiting metrics, including time-to-fill, source effectiveness, turnover, and candidate quality

ยท Partner with executive leadership to forecast hiring needs and workforce planning initiatives

ยท Evaluate recruiting vendors, agencies, advertising platforms, and recruiting technology to maximize ROI

ยท Continuously improve recruiting processes, candidate experience, and hiring outcomes

ยท Build and strengthen our client's employer brand and employment marketing strategy

Operational Partnership & Workforce Planning

ยท Collaborate with Operations, HR, Payroll, and leadership teams to ensure staffing needs are met

ยท Support succession planning and internal talent development initiatives

ยท Assist with retention strategies by identifying hiring trends and turnover drivers

Recruiting Operations & Reporting

ยท Oversee ATS and recruiting systems administration

ยท Ensure accurate reporting and tracking of recruiting activity

ยท Identify process improvements, automation opportunities, and workflow efficiencies

Qualifications

ยท 7+ years of progressive recruiting and talent acquisition experience

ยท 3+ years of leadership or management experience preferred

ยท Proven success leading high-volume and multi-site recruiting efforts

ยท Strong sourcing and passive candidate recruitment experience

ยท Experience developing recruiting strategies and talent pipelines

ยท Demonstrated success managing recruiting metrics and improving hiring outcomes

ยท Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills

ยท Experience managing recruiting budgets, agencies, and vendor relationships

ยท ATS/HRIS experience required (Paylocity preferred)

ยท Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience

What We're Looking For

ยท A strategic talent acquisition leader, not just a recruiter

ยท Someone who can build systems, processes, and scalable recruiting programs

ยท Strong business acumen and partnership mindset

ยท Data-driven decision maker

ยท Passion for identifying and attracting top talent

ยท Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment

ยท Strong sense of urgency, accountability, and ownership

ยท Creative thinker who is constantly looking for new ways to find talent

Impact of the Role:

The Director of Recruiting will play a critical role in shaping the future of the client by ensuring the organization attracts, hires, and retains the talent necessary to support continued growth and operational excellence across the portfolio.
