Imprimis Group has partnered with a growing organization seeking an experience Director of Information Systems to lead the daily operation, support and strategic direction of its enterprise technology environment. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing IT operations, driving technology initiatives, managing a high-performing support team, and ensuring systems remain reliable, secure and aligned with organizational goals.

The ideal candidate is an operational leader who can translate business strategy into technology execution while fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement across the IT organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the day-to-day operations of the Information systems department, ensuring optimal performance, availability and support of enterprise applications.
  • Develop and execute technology roadmaps that align with organizational priorities and long-term business objectives.
  • Manage and mentor a team of system administrators and IT support professionals, promoting accountability and professional growth.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for complex technical issues and cross-functional system challenges.
  • Establish and maintain standardized IT support processes, service level expectations and operational metrics.
  • Coordinate technology initiatives across multiple business units and enterprise platforms.
  • Oversee system upgrades, enhancements, and software releases, ensuring proper testing, communication, and minimal disruption.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, standard operation procedures, and change management processes.
  • Manage relationships with third-party technology vendors and service providers.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational security standards, access controls, and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare operational reports and provide strategic recommendations to executive leadership.

Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in Information Technology operations.
  • 3+ years of experience leading technical teams.
  • Experience supporting enterprise business systems such as ERP, CRM, EHR, or similar platforms.

Preferred Skills:
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team development abilities.
  • Experience developing IT strategies and technology roadmaps.
  • Proven ability to prioritize competing initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of IT service management, system administration, and change management best practices.

  • Understanding information security, compliance, and regulatory requirements within enterprise environments.
