As Strategic Innovations Director, you will play a critical role in defining and advancing the strategies that drive growth, differentiation, and long-term innovation across our Diagnostics business. This is a senior, enterprise-visible opportunity for a strategic leader who thrives in complexity and seeks to influence healthcare at scale.
Reporting to the Senior Director, Strategic Innovations, you will lead high-priority initiatives end-to-end and partner closely with senior stakeholders across Strategy & Business Development, Marketing, R&D, Medical Affairs, Customer Service, and Commercial Operations to translate insight into sustained value across the Diagnostics portfolio.

Your work will influence investment choices, portfolio direction, and the innovation roadmap that defines the future of Diagnostics.
What You'll Do
• Define and advance the strategic innovation agenda for Siemens Healthineers Diagnostics in alignment with enterprise priorities and long-term growth objectives
• Develop informed perspectives on market dynamics, emerging technologies, innovation trends, and competitive landscapes
• Lead and influence cross-functional teams to evaluate opportunities and shape differentiated go-to-market strategies
• Identify emerging clinical and technical innovation areas tied to unmet needs and future growth potential
• Support technology and biomarker scouting, literature assessments, and IP evaluations to inform portfolio and investment decisions
• Build and sustain portfolio analytics, KPIs, and performance insights to enable data-driven strategy
• Deliver clear, concise, executive-ready recommendations to senior leadership
What You'll Bring
• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred
• 10+ years of experience in the healthcare industry
• 5+ years in strategy, business development, management consulting, or venture-related environments
• Strong understanding of the diagnostics and broader healthcare ecosystem

This is a remote-based, Director-level individual contributor role requiring flexibility to collaborate across global time zones. The scope of the role may evolve as the function grows. Anticipated travel is up to 30%.

The base pay range for this position is:
$165,490 - $227,546
Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
If this is a commission eligible position the commission eligibility will be in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan. Commissions are based on individual performance and/or company performance.
