Job Summary
The Director of Franchise Development is responsible for driving franchise growth by identifying, qualifying, and awarding franchise opportunities to high quality candidates who align with the company's culture, values, and long term growth strategy. This role manages the entire franchise development process from lead qualification through franchise agreement execution while consistently delivering an exceptional candidate experience.
The Director of Franchise Development serves as a trusted advisor to prospective franchisees, educating candidates on the franchise opportunity, evaluating financial and operational qualifications, and guiding them through a consultative sales process. This position is accountable for achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual franchise development objectives while maintaining compliance with all franchise sales regulations and the Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD).

Key Responsibilities
Franchise Development
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual franchise development goals.
  • Manage the complete franchise development process from lead generation through franchise agreement execution.
  • Conduct discovery and qualification calls to assess candidate experience, financial capability, and business objectives.
  • Present franchise opportunities through virtual meetings, webinars, and one on one consultations.
  • Educate candidates on the franchise model, investment requirements, operational expectations, and growth opportunities.
  • Guide candidates through the FDD review process while remaining compliant with franchise regulations.
  • Prepare candidates for Discovery Day and coordinate participation with internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline reporting.
Pipeline Management
  • Effectively manage leads within the CRM system.
  • Prioritize high quality prospects while maintaining activity standards.
  • Track sales metrics, conversion rates, and overall pipeline health.
  • Maintain accurate notes, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Develop strategies to improve conversion at each stage of the franchise development funnel.
Qualifications
  • 5-7 years of experience in franchise sales.
  • 5-7 years of experience in franchise business development.
  • Certified Franchise Executive (preferred).
  • CRM experience (i.e FranConnect).
  • Understand Franchise Regulations.
  • Exceptional presentation skills and the ability to connect with a variety of levels of leadership.
  • Highly motivated, self-starter with a strategic mindset.
  • Must have a demonstrated history of high integrity, respectful and sound decision making in the workplace.
