Job description

Manager / Senior Manager, Franchise Sales – Restaurant

Location: Remote; candidates must reside in the Midwest

Compensation: Base salary up to $130,000, based on experience and level

Commission: Uncapped

The Opportunity

We are seeking an accomplished franchise sales professional to accelerate the growth of an established restaurant brand throughout the Midwest. This role may be hired at the Manager or Senior Manager level, depending on the candidate’s experience, track record, and ability to lead franchise development strategy.

The successful candidate will own the franchise sales process from initial prospecting and qualification through signed agreements and restaurant openings. This is an excellent opportunity for a relationship-driven sales professional who understands restaurant franchising, can confidently engage investors and multi-unit operators, and is motivated by an uncapped commission structure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and manage a strong pipeline of qualified franchise candidates, investors, and multi-unit restaurant operators.
  • Own the complete franchise sales cycle, from lead generation and initial qualification through discovery, due diligence, agreement execution, and opening.
  • Develop relationships with prospective franchisees and guide them through the evaluation and approval process.
  • Present the brand’s value proposition, unit economics, growth strategy, and available development opportunities.
  • Generate new prospects through outbound outreach, referrals, broker relationships, industry events, and professional networks.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline activity, forecasts, candidate records, and next steps within the company’s CRM.
  • Partner with leadership, operations, real estate, finance, legal, and development teams to move qualified candidates toward successful openings.
  • Ensure franchise sales activities comply with the Franchise Disclosure Document and applicable presale requirements.
  • Represent the brand at franchise conferences, trade shows, discovery events, and candidate meetings.
  • Consistently achieve or exceed annual franchise sales and unit-opening goals.

Senior Manager Scope

Candidates hired at the Senior Manager level may also:

  • Help shape the Midwest franchise development strategy and market priorities.
  • Develop new lead-generation channels and strategic broker relationships.
  • Improve the franchise sales process, reporting cadence, and conversion metrics.
  • Advise leadership on market conditions, candidate quality, and expansion opportunities.
  • Mentor other franchise sales or development team members as the organization grows.

Candidate Profile

  • Demonstrated success in franchise sales, franchise development, or consultative business-to-business sales.
  • Restaurant, quick-service restaurant, fast-casual, hospitality, or multi-unit franchising experience strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage a full sales pipeline and close franchise or other complex, high-value agreements.
  • Strong understanding of franchise development processes, including candidate qualification, FDD administration, discovery, and preopening coordination.
  • Established relationships with franchise investors, brokers, or multi-unit restaurant operators are highly valued.
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, relationship-building, and follow-through skills.
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote, results-oriented environment.
  • Ability and willingness to travel throughout the Midwest and attend industry events as needed.

Compensation and Incentives

  • Base salary of up to $130,000, depending on experience and whether the candidate is hired at the Manager or Senior Manager level.
  • Uncapped commission potential.
