The Director of Forecasting & Analytics will serve as the team lead for developing U.S. specific Forecasts for Genmab's in line and late-stage product portfolio while also ensuring that KPIs are in place to assess performance and ensure timely reporting/tracking is in place to inform Sr. Leadership. The position will also lead U.S. annual long range revenue planning process covering applicable in-line and late-stage pipeline products.
This position will be expected to work closely with cross functional partners within Genmab including Marketing, Finance, Market Access, Business Insights, and US Medical Affairs, as well as Alliance partners. Core responsibilities will be ensuring process is in place for the development of U.S. Brand level forecasts (patient, unit, dollar), gaining alignment across departments relative to key assumptions, and the development and execution of performance tracking and KPI development.
Work arrangement: This role offers flexibility to work away from the office for 20%-40% of a typical schedule. Employees may use this work schedule in increments of single days or multiple consecutive days, provided it does not exceed 40% within a 60-day period, and is approved by the hiring manager.
Responsibilities:
  • Represent Genmab as the U.S. resident Forecast and planning expert: develop and evolve forecast methodology, build and maintain forecast models, leverage technology to advance Genmab approach
  • Develop, own, and gain organizational alignment on monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting and analytic modeling for in-line and late-stage pipeline assets.
  • Provide guidance and strategic recommendations to Sr. Leadership on performance, business risks and opportunities.
  • Partner across Business insights team to develop and implement analytics, research, and competitive intelligence plan to inform forecast and assess impact of key market events.
  • Ensure all Forecasting milestones are met; drive continuous improvement of forecasting process.
  • Contribute to Brand planning, Launch planning, and Supply Chain process
  • Work effectively with Genmab U.S. Commercial leadership and other support functions, as well as alliance partners while representing Best for Brand and Genmab interests.
  • Lead and manage internal and external forecast team including Associate Director, as well as external vendor partner in support of US market forecast needs.

Requirements
  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required; MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of industry experience, with documented career progression.
  • 5+ years of Forecasting, Business Planning, or Finance experience within the pharmaceutical/biotech industry with focus on Oncology/Hematology preferred.
  • Deep understanding (including creation of) advanced data analytics, and data sources (Claims data, EMR, GPO data, etc.)
  • Experience working in the highly complex, dynamic environment of an emerging organization.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and on multiple analytics projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguity, with an entrepreneurial mind-set and a track record of results.
  • Strong communication, presentation, indirect influence skills.
  • Startup, emerging pharma, or new team experience desired
  • Domestic and/or international travel as needed

For US based candidates, the proposed salary band for this position is as follows:
$200,640.00---$300,960.00
The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation, such as discretionary bonuses and long-term incentives.
