We are hiring on behalf of a luxury hotel in California for an experienced and hands-on Director of Housekeeping to oversee the housekeeping operation of a 128-room property.
This is an excellent opportunity for a proven housekeeping leader with experience in luxury hotels or high-end hospitality environments. The Director of Housekeeping will be responsible for maintaining exceptional cleanliness and service standards throughout the property while leading and developing a dedicated housekeeping team.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee all housekeeping and public area operations across the property.
Lead, manage, and develop a team of approximately 25 associates.
Ensure consistently high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and guest satisfaction.
Manage daily staffing, scheduling, training, and performance.
Work closely with hotel leadership and other departments to ensure seamless operations.
Monitor housekeeping budgets, labor costs, inventory, and departmental expenses.
Establish and maintain departmental standards, policies, and procedures.
Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas.
Address guest concerns and ensure timely resolution of housekeeping-related issues.
